Well done to the Under 16 Footballers who beat Olafs in the league, Minor footballers recorded a victory over Barrog, Intermediate Hurlers beat Fingallians, Junior Hurlers beat Judes, Under 16 Hurlers lost out to Rialto Gaels, U14 hurlers beat Ballyboden, 13 Hurlers lost while the under 12 footballers had a great win against Geraldine Morans showing great team work and score-taking ability. Hard luck to Oisin Kelly and the Dublin Minors who lost out to Kildare. Summer Camps begin on the 6th of July Catering for Boys and Girls aged between 4-12, Camp 1 is Football and Camp 2 is Hurling all are welcome. The club will host the PJ Troy tournament for Under 13's on Saturday with nine clubs taking part. Big thank you to Glanmore Foods for supplying our U8s with water for their summer party. In ladies football the seniors lost out to Kilmacud in the championship, U8 team played Annes, 9's played Clann na Gael and the 10s played Cuala. This weeks lotto numbers were 5,7,9,12, the jackpot was not won and will be 10000 next week. Condolences to Michael Wray and his family on the death of his mother Maggie, Maureen Kavanagh and her family on the death of her husband Denis and to Marie Dunne and family on the death of Vincent

Thomas Davis lotto numbers for week ended 28.06.15 were 5,7,9&12. There was no winner so the jackpot will be €10K next week and the reserve jackpot is €9,500. Well done to the Under 15 footballers on a super performance against league leaders Ballymun on Sunday morning. Seniors lost out to Na Fianna and beat St Brigids. Well done to the Intermediates who beat both Na Fianna and O'Dwyers. Junior A team lost out to St Marys while the Junior B team had excellent wins against Lucan and Na Gaeil Oga. Thanks to Birr GAA Club who hosted our Under 10 hurlers over the weekend. Under 8s played some great football against St Marks and Lucan, with teamwork and skills improving each week. Summer Camps begin July 5th catering for boys and girls aged 4-12, camp 1 is Football and Camp 2 is Hurling. There will be registration for the summer camps on Wednesday from 6 to 7 at astro,Thursday from 6 to 7 at astro, Saturday from 10 to 11 at main pitch. In Ladies football seniors beat Ballyboden in the Cup, Well done to Bobby McNulty, Olwen Carey, Ciara McGuigan, Niamh McGoldrick and the rest of the Dublin u21 ladies panel on winning the All Ireland against Cork. Lotto was not won, numbers were 3,8,11,19, jackpot is 10000 next week. Thomas Davis are currently seeking a Club Coach. Thomas Davis GAA club seeks to appoint a club coach. The role will involve: Being a liaison officer for Thomas Davis within the local schools. Working with Primary, Post Primary and under age teams in both the local schools and Thomas Davis. Developing the Thomas Davis academy for 4 to 7 year olds. Plan, Co-ordinate Club Summer Camps and Easter Camps. Coaching and Skill Development initiatives appropriate to age and ability of various playing groups. A key target for the successful candidate will be to increase participation levels through recruitment and improve playing standards across all codes and teams. Support a sustainable development system by managing the identification, recruitment and training of key personnel within Clubs and Schools to develop Gaelic Games in Tallaght. Requirements: Coaching qualifications with experience of coaching Gaelic games to boys and girls across the 4 codes. Qualifications should include: GAA Chid Protection in Sport Awareness Workshop - Foundation Award Hurling/Football - Award 1 Child and/or Youth Adult Hurling/Football - Award 2 Child Hurling/Football Some experience of GAA Tutor qualifications – Foundation Diploma (Training & Education may also be an advantage Strong interest in Gaelic Games, experience of the workings of GAA club. Ability to Develop and deliver coach education programmes. Good Communication skills and good interpersonal skills. Ability to speak Irish would also be an advantage. Be competent in written communication and also in a range of admin tasks. Regular reports to Steering Committee will be required. Initiative and ability to work on own. Own Transport is essential. Garda Vetting is required. The position will be for 37 hours per week and the salary will be discussed at interview. The Super Draw is now up and running, you can purchase your tickets from a member or at the clubhouse. To Guarantee your place on this years summer camps registration will be on Thursday 6-7 and Saturday 10 -11 on the Astro. Well done to both the Intermediate and the Junior hurlers who won in the Championship. Under 12 hurlers lost while the under 13 footballers won. In Ladies football well done to the seniors who beat Fingallians and Sylvesters in the cup while the Juniors drew with Ranelagh. In Camogie well done to the under 14s on their play-off win against Castleknock. Seniors beat Kevins in a challenge game. Lotto was not won and the jackpot remains at 10,000. Fit walk continues to the end of June, meet at the club for 745 on Monday evenings. Thomas Davis always welcome new members, for more information contact the clubhouse or any member.

Launch of the Super Draw is this Friday the 12th of June, Please come along and support the club, there will be a draw for a free ticket given out on the night for those in attendance. Our very popular and much loved summer camps will run as normal this summer, check out facebook or the clubhouse for the details. U12 footballers lost as did our under 13 hurlers while the under 14 hurlers won their game. Well done to the Intermediate footballers beating the Garda in the B Championship. Our under 8 teams played James Gaels and Stars of Erin on Saturday and showed some excellent skills and teamwork well done to all the players. In ladies football, Juniors lost while the under 11 and 12 teams both won. Well done to Bobby McNulty, Ciara McGuigan, Olwen Carey, Niamh McGoldrick and all involved in the Dublin u21 win vs Cork at the weekend and best of luck going into the All Ireland Final. Lotto was not won numbers were 8,14,16,17, jackpot remains at 10k. Fit walk continues until the end of June meet at the clubhouse for 745 on Monday evenings.
