Adult hurlers stayed in hunt for promotion with 2 vital league wins with the inters beating Clanna Gael and juniors beating Faughs. Our junior ladies footballers beat St Sylvesters in championship and play St Annes away on Wednesday at 7 15. All support welcome. Well done to Jade Sweeney and the Dublin under 16 panel who defeated Galway in All Ireland semi final. Congratulations to Miriam Liston and Tommy Canavan who were recently married. Senior camogie team qualified for league play offs with victory over Naomh Fionnbarra. Best of luck to Alison McGrath and Paula Malcolmson who play for Dublin in All Ireland camogie semi final v Laois on Sunday in Athy. Under 16 footballers beat Ballinteer in league. Next Saturday senior footballers travel to Raheny for senior league game. Carvery available from the club every Sunday with special Summer offer of a free childs meal (under 12) with every adult meal bought. There will be live music with Resound on Saturday from 9 30. Club BBQ will take place on Sep 13 with family day on September 14. The club are collecting old mobile phones in the hope of earning a defibrillator. Senior footballers drew with St Vincents in the league and intermediates beat Round Tower Lusk to stay in play off hunt. Juniors were beaten by Lucan. Best of luck to Cian Murphy, Chris Sallier and Eanna O Toole and the Dublin minor panel as they take on Cork next Monday in All Ireland Quarter Final. Our final Summer Camps will take place on August 18 to 22. Well done to the Dublin minors on winning the Leinster Championship especially the Thomas Davis players Cian Murphy, Chris Sallier, Eanna O Toole and manager Cyril Kevlihan. Hard luck to Shannon Redmond and Bobby McNulty as the Dublin minor girls lost out to Galway in All Ireland Semi final and Shane McGrath whose Clare team lost narrowly to Kildare in the qualifiers. Our intermediate hurlers reached the quarter finals of the championship with victory over Lucan before being beaten by Naomh Barrog in the league. Junior hurlers lost to Na Fianna in championship. Senior footballers play St Vincents at home in league on Saturday at 6 30. Our final Summer Camps will take place on August 18 to 22.
