Members interested becoming a mentor or coach to any of the club’s juvenile teams should contact Niall Kelly (086-390 1017)

 

Texas Hold EM games take place in the Clubhouse every Thursday night at 9pm.

Members please note that Membership fees for 2012 are now due. Members should arrange to forward  same to Myles Davoren or Noel Blanchfield. The Membership Committee will be in attendance in the Clubhouse from7pm to 9pm to collect Adult and Juvenile Members 2012 Fees from Monday 30th-Thursday 2nd February 2012.All subscriptions must be paid during this period.

Adult teams training-Hurling Mondays & Wednesdays and Football Tuesdays & Thursdays.

Adult games committee meeting takes place on Tuesday 17th January 2012 at 8.30pm.

 

Deal or No Deal Social Evening takes place on Friday 3rd February 2012 at 8.30pm.

 

Annual General Meeting takes place in the Clubhouse on Monday 12th March 2012 at 9.30pm. Nominations and motions should be forwarded to Club Secretary Gerry Peggs no later than Monday 20th February 2012.

Congratulations to the Under 21 Football team who defeated Naomh Mearnog in the Under 21 B Championship Final last Saturday.

Juvenile Membership Fees for 2012 are Now Due!

The Juvenile membership fees for 2012 are now due. The fees for 2012 are

Academy Children €25

One Child under 8 to minor €40

Second Child under 8 to minor €35 - additional children €10

Family Membership €100 (Both Parents and all children)

Membership will be collected in the upstairs lounge on the following dates:

Monday January 30  from 7 pm- 9 pm

Tuesday January 31 from 7 pm - 9 pm

Wednesday February 01 from 7 pm -9 pm

Thursday February 02 from 7 pm -9 pm

Saturday February 04 from 10 am -12 noon.

Juvenile members will also be entitled to discounts at our hugely popular Easter and Summer Camps.

Our club registrars Myles Davoren and Noel Blanchfield will be on hand to deal with any queries.

 

Thomas Davis win Under 21 Football Championship

Thomas Davis Under 21 Footballers secured the Under 21 b championship crown with a narrow victory over Naomh Mearnog on Saturday. A tight first half saw Davis lead by the narrowest of margins at half time. An injury to Mearnogs Niall Murphy saw the game held up for almost 30 minutes in the second half. When the play did resume Mearnogs seemed determined to claim the title for their injured colleague and led by 0-8 to 0-6 as the game enetered the final quarter. Howvever the greater big match experience of some Davis players proved critical and three Paul Hudson frees and an excellenst score by Sean Reilly saw Davis home. Hopefully this can be the launch pad to a successful season for all Thomas Davis adult teams.
